It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Kenneth Brown of Dewberry, Alberta, who passed away on October 16, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene; his son Rock; his granddaughter Ashley; and his parents, Norval Brown and Marion Brown.

He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Ford (Roger) of Czar, AB, Shane Brown (Monica) of Toutes Aides, Stacy Brown (Jacquie) of Marshall, SK, Leeland Brown (Michelle Garnier) of Dewberry, Russell Brown of Dewberry and Logan Brown of Dewberry; and his grandchildren, Orrin Ford (Shelby Herbert), Shyla, Wyatt Ford (Maya), Stran Ford (Morgan Botting), Valerie, Shane Brown, Danika Brown, Stephanie Rurka, Duncan Rurka (Emma Wirachowsky), Waylon Brown, Marley Brown, Ethan Brown, Judy Sabiston and Jamie Walterhouse.
