He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Parr and Laura Parr; his brother Dwaine Parr; his sister-in-law Anne Parr; his parents-in-law, Les and Florence Harwood; and his brother-in-law Larry Harwood.

He is survived by: his significant other Eleanor Parr of Dewberry; his sons, Allan Parr (Christine Graham) of Dewberry and Art Parr (Lanie) of Dewberry; his grandchildren, Taylor Holder (Logan) and Ryan Parr (Alexis Bristow); his great grandchildren, Emmett and Hadley Holder; his siblings, Grant Parr (Deb) of Lake Cowichan and Sandra Braithwaite (Roger) of Dewberry; and his sister-in-law Irene Rhan of Lloydminster.
