He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hedberg and Janie Foster; and his siblings, Ellen, Betty, Grace, Leo and Donny.

He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Murray (Heidi) and Maureen (Larry); his grandsons, Curtis (Ashley), Trevor (Charlotte) and Frazer (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Bauer and Easton; and his siblings, Bob (Sharron) and Judy (Dennis).

“My sincere condolences to Lois and family. As a teenager in Devon, Louis was the man at the Devon Hardware and latter he was seen a community leader. My best memories of Loui was with our work down at the Devon Lions Park. Loui was a driving force in the expansion and enhancements in the Park. He inspired the building of facilities, developing camp sites and planting trees was his passion for many years. His efforts in the Devon Lions Park live on, Thank you Lion Louis Hedberg. “My life could have been much different without Louie in it. I came to Devon in late 1992 to work for Louie at the WTP down at the river. Louie liked my work and kept me as he was retiring later in 1993. Thank you Louie as I met my wife Kathy while she read the meters in the WWTP, and we have made a life in Devon. Respectfully, you mattered in our life.”
