He was predeceased by: his father Wesley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Walter; his sister Edith Saunders; his children, Dwight Walter (Gail), Mark Walter (Heather), Garth Walter (Sabrina) and Carol Schlink (Rudy); and his foster sons, Chris Lambert and Les Lambert.
