She was predeceased by: her daughter Monica Ekvall; her niece Lori Hazzard; her sister Lauraine Hazzard; and her parents, Anne Marie and Phillipe Lambert.
She is survived by: her husband Herb Ekvall; her children, Dennis Ekvall (Shirley) of Kelowna, BC, Elaine Munce (Calvin Dmytar) of Calgary, AB, Vincent Ekvall (Mary) of Calgary, AB and Christine Roeder (Michael) of Calgary, AB; her grandchildren, Michelle Ekvall, Laura Hit, Lauren Southwick, Adam, Ginny, Connor, Steven, Julia Ekvall, Griffin, Jasper and Eli Roeder; her great grandchildren, Grace and Joah Hit; and her sister Jacqueline Moody of Edmonton, AB.. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (1566 Northmount Dr NW, Calgary, AB T2L0G6).
