With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Harry Smart of Delburne, Alberta, born in Calgary, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2024 at the age of 78. As Brian Harry departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Brian Harry. Though Brian Harry may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Smart and Peter Smart. He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Brown (Lyle) of Vulcan, Calvin Smart of Vulcan and Valerie Smart of Edmonton; his children, Denyce Smart of Delburne, Kevin Smart (Lana) of Vernon, B. C. and Theresa Smart of Calgary; his grandsons, Adam and Daniel; and his pet Fred.
