He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Bysterveld and Hazel Bysterveld; his daughter Lisa; and his parents-in-law, Art and Donna Vincent.

He is survived by: his wife Marj; his daughter Lindsay Ross (Barry); his close friends, Justan Ross and Andi Johnson; his granddaughter Neko; his siblings, Keith (Marlene), Ron (Teresa) and Jo-Anne; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Vincent (Doreen) and Teresa Diegel. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
