He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis; his parents, William Gabruck and Mary Gabruck; and his siblings, Stan, Peter, John, Helen and Ann.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Lee Sommer (Monty) of Stettler, Lynda Louise Kroetch (Tom) of Sherwood Park and Lori Lynne Kirchner (Warren) of Busby; his grandchildren, Jeff Sommer (Jenny), Karla Millar (Cory), Ryan Sommer (Meighan), Bethany Gabruck, Ty Jacobs and Kayl Kirchner; and his siblings, George Gabruck (Jean) of Sedgewick and Olga Mosier of Sherwood Park. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Victor's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Providence Place in Daysland, or the Royal Canadian Legion Daysland.
