He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hardy, May Scheler, Alan and Dorothy Brennan; his uncle Doug Scheler; and his cousin Dan Schmaltz.
He is survived by: his wife Candy; his sons, Derek, Curtis and Jared; his parents, Gary and Carol; his brother Rob (Heather); and his niece Alaire Grace.
Memorial Donations in Rick's memory may be made to the Community Enhancement Fund designated to the Forestburg Fire Department; the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
