She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Stanley Desmond; her parents, Donald Lisle and Jean McDougall; her parents-in-law, Hart and Nellie Desmond; and her siblings, Alexander, William "Bill", Donald, Charles, Noel, Jessie McDonough, Dorothy Waters, Violet "Vi" Black, Laura McDougall and Nora Rilling.
She is survived by: her children, Lyle Desmond (Doreen) of Legal, Bruce Desmond (Marion) of St. Paul, Rodney Desmond (Cheryl) of Boyne Lake and Linda Simpson (Brian) of Daysland; her grandchildren, Shawna, Nathan, Kevin, Peter, Andrew, Adam, Vicky, Sarah, Kim and Robyn; her great grandchildren, Spencer, Lexi, Charity and Parker; her siblings, Neil McDougall of Sturgeon County, Norman McDougall of Bon Accord and Nellie Wagoner of Whitecourt; and her sisters-in-law, Audrey McDougall, Louise McDougall and Linda McDougall. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
