He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy and Emma; his siblings, Pete, Jim, Blanche, Alice, Harriet and Lois; and his son-in-law Ed Borgel.

He is survived by: his wife Myrna; his children, Tim (Darlene) and Cindy Borgel; and his grandson Curtis Borgel (Shelby).

Memorial donations can be made to the Strome Seniors Centre or the Rosevale Cemetery.
