He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Petras and Veronica Petras; his brothers, Keith, Frank and Larry; his nephews, Kip Petras and Ricky Petras; his niece Sherry Petras; and his great-nephew Kevin LaPrete.

He is survived by: his brother Tom (Eileen).
