He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Cholewka and Valentina Cholewka; his wife Elsa; his granddaughter Jasmine Mitchell; and his friend Erkki Laitinen.
He is survived by: his sister Elsie Hill (Thomas) of Sherwood Park; his stepchildren, Sari Carriere (Pierre), Tiina DeLisle (Danny) and Jani "Eric" Laitinen (Cathy); his grandchildren, Chris DeLisle (Morgan), Colby DeLisle (Allison), Makyla Laitinen (Devon) and Kei-Ann Primeau (Cody); his great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Louie; his nieces, Kathryn Gerling (Jason) and Sarah Silver (Marc); his nephew Edward "George" Hill (Mary); and his friend Bruce Guy. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
Donations in memory of the late Eric Cholewka, may be made to the Bellevue Vet "Spay our Strays" program, or the Second Chance Animal Centre.
