He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Leah Sundown; his parents, William Sundown and Violet Pachapis; his siblings, Shane Sundown, Dorian Pachapis, Aaron Bearboy, Verna Pahtayken (Lare), Alura Pachapis, Windy Sundown, Selena Sundown, Lovena Sundown and Tiffany Bearboy; his grandparents, Louis, Eliza Sundown, Robert Littlespruce and Anne Pachapis; his aunts and uncles, Harold Sundown, John Sundown, Louie Jr. Sundown, Norman Sundown, Delmer Sundown, Derik Sundown, Lloyd Sundown, Donald Pachapis, Alfred H. Chief, Caroline Sundown, Lena Pachapis and Colleen Pachapis; and his extended family, Saulteaux and Thunderchild. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family.
A wake was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chief Napew Memorial School (Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Pierceland, SK S0M2K0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the same location.
