He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Birn and Lorraine Birn; and his sister Ardath Birn. He is survived by: his wife Tina Birn of Cold Lake, AB; and his siblings, Raymond Birn (Lucienne), James Birn (Jean), Greg Birn (Diane) and Janice Sigurdson (Hal).
