He is survived by: his children, Bernard Holbrook of Ontario and Myriam Holbrook (Chris Morrison) of Cold Lake; his grandchildren, Francine, Joy, Anya, William, Sophie and Jessica; and his sister Mavis Birkhiem.

“It was through his granddaughter Francine that we first meet Perry. George and Perry becoming fast friends in the pre-school lobby over the duties of child care and transport. It was a friendship that lasted beyond the childhood of the two little girls that the two men minded with such care and devotion. Thus, it was with great sadness that we read of Perry's passing and with sincerity that we send our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.”
