He is survived by: his wife Judy Penny of Cold Lake, AB; his children, Sam Penny (Kim) of Sherwood Park, AB and Lindsey Penny (Wade Hartel) of Edmonton, AB; his grandson Leo Hartel of Edmonton, AB; his sister Kathleen Leslie (Paul) of Scone, Scotland; his brother-in-law Howard Polinsky (Lynda Colvey) of Cold Lake, AB; his parents, Nathaniel Penny and Beatrice Penny; his sister Maureen Wight; his brother-in-law Ronnie Wight; and his father-in-law Hal Polinsky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
