He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Montgrand; his son Tony Alphonse; his parents, Michael Francois and Mary Francois; and his stepson Darren Montgrand.
He is survived by: his children, Vincent Francois, Leah Alphonse, Lauralee Alphonse, Clayton Francois, Clinton Francois, Ryan Francois, Geoffrey Montgrand and Eileen Montgrand; and his siblings, Antoine Francois, Norbert Francois, Napoleon Francois, Alexis Francois, Dalphine Bank, Eileen Sylvester and Mary Jane Grandbois. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
