She was predeceased by: her husband Nick Charon; her parents, Alex Metchewais and Theresa Metchewais; and her siblings, James Metchewais, Agnes Desjarlais, Jobby Metchewais, Rossana Vosler, Edna St. Jermane, Doreen Strong, Laurence Metchewais and Wanda Metchewais.
She is survived by: her children, Conrad Metchewais (Tricia), April Strong, Kimowan McLain, Marlaine "Molly" Metchewais and Amber Strong; and her siblings, Sam Metchewais and Ada McLain. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
