He is survived by: his wife Sharron Sweany of Cold Lake; his children, Glenice Day (Darryl), Colleen Vickruck (Ron), Arlie Mont (Stuart), Clayton Hermanson (Jessica) and Joanne Glass (Darryl); his grandchildren, Chelsea Thomas (Jason), Taylor Chambers (Ben), Jordyn Mont and Clayton Day (Scotia); his great grandchildren, Emily Day, Sierra Day, Madison Chambers and Brinley Thomas; and his siblings, Bud Sweany and Donna Kent (Ross).
