He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Ottenbrite and Theresa Ottenbrite; his wife Marion Joan Ottenbrite; his siblings, George, Clem, Wilfred, Peter, Joe, Trudy Ruest, Josie Skuce and Ray Ottenbrite; his children, Gail Milliken-Meier (Colin), Jay Ottenbrite (Cindy), John Ottenbrite (Patrice) and Dawn Ottenbrite-Schmidt (Garth); his grandchildren, Jamie Milliken (Mandy), Kimberly Milliken, Alex Meier, Tylor Ottenbrite (Shila), Chelsey Harlotn (Shaun), Christopher Ottenbrite, Tianna Ottenbrite, Cheryl Bennett, James Bennett, David Lefebvre and Teri Lefebvre (Richard); and his great grandchildren, Ashton Milliken, Jack Christian, Ella Christian, Benjamin Harlton, Ethan Ottenbrite, Riley Pointkowski and Harper Meier. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
