He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Lobe; and his son Timothy Lobe. He is survived by: his children, Denis Lobe (Rita) of St. Albert, Don Lobe (Debra) of Cold Lake and Janet Mattice (Ron) of Cold Lake; his daughter-in-law Sharon Bibeau of Cold Lake; and his grandchildren, Jordan Lobe (Kristy) of Winnipeg, MB, Terrance Lobe (Gillian) of Cold Lake, Craig Lobe (Erin) of Cold Lake, Brandon Mattice (Kristine) of Edmonton, Kathryn Mattice (Wolfegang) of Slave Lake, Megan Mattice of Cold Lake, Justin Lobe (Jessica) of Cold Lake and Tayn Young (Matthew) of Cold Lake.
