It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon James Thorne of Cold Lake, Alberta, born in Havelock, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Thorne and Clara Thorne (McEwen); his siblings, Elsie (Edgar Sprague), Donald (Aileen) and Pearson (Dora); and his siblings-in-law, Jean Alward (Ford), Dawna Mahoney and Beverly Folkins.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn of Sussex Corner; his daughters, Ann Haire (Craig) of Waasis and Donna Thorne of Cold Lake, AB; and his siblings-in-law, Grace Folkins and Reginald Mahoney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
