He was predeceased by: his parents, Drees Benders and Jet Benders. He is survived by: his wife Nelly; his sons, Bart (Vanessa) of Mortsel Belgium and Dwayne (Kim) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Emily, Estee and Kaitlin; and his siblings, Jac (Gerda) of Hout, Karin (Piet) of Kessel Netherlands, Marian (Ken) of Leduc, AB, Andre of Kessel, Gerda (Huub) of Roggel Netherlands and Jacqueline (Gene) of Leduc, AB. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sister-in-law and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
