He was predeceased by: his wife Beverley; his son Glenn; his sister Barbara Patterson; and his parents, Marjorie Edwards and Reginald Edwards.

He is survived by: his children, Gordon Edwards (Cindy) and Jill Raneri (Peter); his grandchildren, Justin Edwards, Kyle Edwards, Nicole Raneri and Alex Raneri; and his sister Mary Ellen Onno.
