He was predeceased by: his parents, William Horgus and Caroline Horgus; and his in-laws, Ralph and Audrey Karsten. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Amy (Mark), Anna (Jeff), Kevin and Laura (Steve); his grandchildren, Emma, Addison and Willow; his pet Molly; his sisters, Maryann (Stuart) and Kathy (Rod); and his in-laws, Allan (Erna) and Ivan (Wendy).

A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
