He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kaval and Magdalena Kaval; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Dorothy Evans; and his brothers-in-law, Ken David and Percy Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his children, Joe Kaval (Marie) and Dorothy Siemens (Rick); his grandchildren, Trish Lybbert (Loren), Jason Siemens (Katie), Crystal Gagnon (Tony) and Brian Kaval (Karry Lynn); and his great grandchildren, Marin, Rylee Lybbert, Justin, Owen, Emily Siemens, Harper and Hazel Kaval.
