He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Johanna Donkersgoed; his parent Picture Butte; his children, Joyce and Ken (Alana); his grandchildren, Gerrit and Braden; and his siblings, Anna Puurveen, Henny Veluw, Tymen and Ken Donkersgoed. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
