With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geertine Vandenberg of Coaldale, Alberta, who passed away on September 11, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paulina Kloosterman and Douwe Kloosterman; her brother Martinus Kloosterman; and her son Henry Vandenberg. She is survived by: her child Geertine; her husband John Vandenberg; her children, Pauline Smith, Clarence, Dwight and Marco Vandenberg; her grandchildren, Spencer, Madelyn and Hannah Smith; her siblings, Ali, Grieta, Ria, Marianne, Klaas, Douwe and Roel; and her children-in-law, Shayne Smith, Julie Vandenberg, Michelle Vandenberg, Lydia Vandenberg and Lyndsey Vandenberg.
