He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald McHugh and Pearl McHugh; and his brothers, Barry, Warren and Blair.

He is survived by: his brother Scotty Many Guns; his children, Denny, Ronald Jr., Ryan, Chantel (Jim) and MJ; his grandchildren, Brendon, Aaden, Isiah and Baby Pearl; his siblings, Neil (Carol), Jerome (Jackie), Trevor (Mandi) and Sonia; his nieces and nephews, Carolee, Vada, Jade (Zac), Joy, Tasheena, Alberta, Drae, Jane (Pernell), Samantha, Shane, Neil Jr., Barry Jr., Cody, Jocko, Zach, Larson, Ashford and Anson; his sisters, Donna and Sandra; and his niece Yvette Starlight.
