We bid farewell to Cora Sitting Eagle (Cluny, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 25, 2024 at the age of 62. Cora Sitting touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her children, Janine Rain and David Sitting Eagle; her grandparents, Bob, Clara Rain, Jacob and Phillimine Rain; her parents, Lazaruth Rain and Sophie Rain; her brothers, Rufus, Roland and Clyde Rain; and her close friend Smallie.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Sitting Eagle; and her child Jean Rain (Kenny). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A wake was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Residence of Leonard Sitting Eagle. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at the Little Washington Cemetery.
