He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

“So sorry to hear of Gene’s passing. Condolences from Cindy and I to all his family. I only seen Gene once in awhile but he always seemed to sneek up behind me … which was weird for a big man …. and then a sledge hammer hand would land on my shoulder and i knew it was Gene before he said “what you doing Gabert!!” Sad news and prayers to you all.”
