He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Bishop (Gay) and Harold Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Lois Adams; his children, Lorrett (Patty) and David (Corrin); his grandchildren, Peyton, Maxwell and Kingston; and his siblings, Carol (Ray), Randy (Eva) and Lynda (Andy).
