With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen (Kaye) Fisher of Claresholm, Alberta, born in Vulcan, Alberta, who passed away on May 26, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Herb; her close friend Tom Stockdale; her sister Joan Engle; and her parents, Hilda Thorp and Eric Thorp.

She is survived by: her children, Don and Laurie; her son-in-law Pete Kisner; her grandsons, Erik Kisner (Sexsmith) and Joel Kisner (Grande Prairie); her great grandchildren, Gabriel and Jaedon; and her sisters, Jean Burgess (Calgary) and Beverley Ready (Les) of Campbell River, B. C..

Kaye will be cremated; however, due to pandemic restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.

“Sometimes I look out the window and I see Kaye strolling across to come for a visit with Mum and I. Or conversely on her way home after a visit. Occasionally when I'm out and about, I see her walking to the pool or towards the post office... But, well... you know 😔 second looks belie what I saw. I expect she is without pain of body, heart and soul, now experiencing peace and contentment. Rest in peace Kaye”
