He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandchildren, Jocelyne, Abigail and Addison; his sisters, Dot Jamieson (Wes), Anna Flewelling (Jack), Doris Burchill (Len) and Brenda Bohn (Lionel); his parents, Stephan Schmidtke and Anna Schmidtke; and also, Konrad (Leanne) of Edmonton and Kris (Jamie) of Coaldale.
