It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Mary Carroll (Claresholm, Alberta), who passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Hazel leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shanoway and Hilda Shanoway (Shanoway); and her husband Walter Carroll. She is survived by: her sons, Jim Tyrer (Sharon) of Lethbridge and Doug Tyrer (Lydia) of Granum; her sister Marlene Armstrong; and her grandchildren, Teri-Lynn, Colleen, Colin, Tammy and Tanya. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
