He is survived by: his wife Serena Smith (Hay); his son John Smith; his daughter-in-law Laura Laing of Nanton; his son Lloyd of Calgary; his grandchildren, Clayton (Darby) and Shelby (Shane); his brothers, George Smith (Colleen) of Nanton, Edward Smith (Jo-Ann) of Hythe and Warren Smith (Aileen) of Eaglesham; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Molendyk (Jan) of Three Hills and Lucille James of Wainwright. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
