He was predeceased by: his son Lorne; his granddaughter Andrea; and his siblings, Jemima Oakes, Roger and Mark.
He is survived by: his wife Anna; and his children, Lyle (Lynnet), Rob (Leanne), Joanne Smith (Sam), Elaine Loewen (Jeff), Donna Bell (Scott) and Tracy Baron (Mike). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
