With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Schlinker in Chinook, Alberta, who passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Maureen Schlinker; his parents, Martin Schlinker and Marie Schlinker; and his siblings, Fred (Olga), Molly Stuber (Frank), Justine Kent, Emma Stickel (Jack), John (Frieda), Meada Heidinger (Albert) and Bertha Fraser (Earl).
He is survived by: his children, Brian Schlinker (Norma), Brenda Hornung and Mark Schlinker; his grandchildren, Rhonda Olson (Todd), Barry Schlinker (Alma Gacias), Christine Stock (Mark), Kelly Hornung, Laura Hornung, Brandon Schlinker and Breanna Schlinker (Tyson Canning); and his great grandchildren, Cameron Stock (Dana Cook), Courtney Stock (Tanner Dynes), Connor Stock, Cassidy Stock, Cole Olson, Kinley Olson, Katelyn Olson, Sawyer Hornung and Hudson Schlinker.
Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p. m. Masks are mandatory.
