He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Stuart and Pearl Stuart; his wife Mary Elizabeth Stuart; his grandsons, Stanley Cave and Jason Davis; and his siblings, Bob Stuart, Gary Stuart, Keith Stuart, Louise Cathrea, Brenda Rhodes, Carol Stuart and Gloria Rudisuela.

He is survived by: his close friend Sheryl Butler; his children, Danny Stuart (Wendy), Jake Stuart, Jody Stuart (Tracy), Debbie Cave (Calvin), Tammy Stuart (Tim), Tina Selander (Greg) and Jennifer Stuart (Vic); and his brother Glen Stuart. He is also survived by his eighteen grandchildren; his fourteen great grandchildren; and his one great great grandchild.
