He was predeceased by: his parents, Hormidas and Marie-Ange; his brother Daniel; and his brother-in-law Leo. He is survived by: his wife Gisele Lauzon; his children, Marc (Angela) and Therese; his grandchildren, Chadd, Adon, Mattison and Brooke; his daughter Crystal; his grandchildren, Ethan, Isabelle and Austin; his nephew Mitch (Jean); his great-nephews, Daniel (Kristi) and Cody; his daughter-in-law Laura (Jay); his grandson Chase; his siblings, Gaetan (Pauline), Regine (Thomas), Pauline and Noella; and his son Pierre. He is also survived by many extended family and very close friends.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's name to Caroline's Meals on Wheels program or STARS air ambulance.
