He was predeceased by: his parents, William Doel and Veva Doel; his wife Mollie Doel (Wren); his son Kenneth Doel; his siblings, George Doel, Margaret Brown and Madeleine Parks; and his great grandchild Kyla Graham-Doel.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Clark Wren; his daughters, Mollie Wren, Ilene Bugbee (John) of Caroline and Loretta Kennedy (Tim) of Airdrie; his brother Richard Doel (Marilyn) of Calgary; and his daughter-in-law Marj Atkinson of Caroline. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
