He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William, Anna Margitich, Charles and Katherine Sevak; and his parents, Right Reverend John Margitich and Matushka Helen Margitich.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Margitich; his children, Sarah Howell (Murray) and Jacob Margitich; his sister Illona Leugner (Ernie); his niece Barbara Zaboroski (Jeff); and his nephew David Leugner.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Cross Cancer Institute or St. Barbara's Russian Orthodox Cathedral.
