He was predeceased by: his parents, William Heaven and Belle Hudson; his stepfather Thomas Moston; his brother Hugh; his sisters-in-law, Karen (Hugh) and Beverly (David); and his son-in-law Shaun Waterfield.
He is survived by: his wife Leota; his children, Bill (Amy) of Chestermere, AB and Corinne Szmata (David) of Grimshaw, AB; and his grandchildren, Samuel, Maximillian, Noah, Elizabeth and Lorelei. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren or nieces and nephews.
