He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rhea Paxman Sommerfeldt; his parents, Bruno Sommerfeldt and Sarah Sommerfeldt; and his daughters, Janet Tolley (Jim), Doreen Holland (Ted), Wanita Daniels (Frank) and Karen Cahoon (Mark). He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
