He was predeceased by: his parents, Gila Nielsen and John Nielsen; and his brother Barry Nielsen. He is survived by: his wife Jewel Nielsen; his children, Crystal Oravec (John), Selena Kerkoff (Kyle) and Jesse Nielsen; and his sister Susan Labelle. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
