She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Oka and Madeline; her siblings, Leita Big Sorrel, Evelyn Bird and Alymer Oka; her brother-in-law Robert Mitchell; her nephew Justin Eagle; her mother-in-law Adeline Charland; her sisters-in-law, Lucy Charland and Rita Oliver; her niece Lisa; her nephew Marcus; and also, Joe Young Pine, May Young Pine, Mike Oka and Helen Oka.
She is survived by: her children, Maurice Minoose Jr. (Yeily), Melody and Janice (Kwebb Galbreath); her grandchildren, Matt (Britney), Kyler and Bayley; her sisters, Mary Cardinal (Dan), Maves Oka Mitchell, Delroy Oka and Ronalda Eagle; her son Cyril; her sister-in-law Sharon; her aunt Odile Day Chief; her niece Crystal Oka (Ace); her daughter Frances Many Bears; her godson Joe Oka; her niece Laura Charland of Cold Lake; her brother-in-law Sam; her nephew Steve Oliver of England; her child Clan; and her grandson Matthew Minoose.
A Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 22nd, from 9:30 - 11:00 am with a Family Service to follow at 11:00 am. (Due to COVID-19 restrictions a limited number will be allowed into the service at a time.).
