He is survived by: his close friend Nora Macisaac; and his siblings, DeNiese Waterstreet Al Pearen (late Ralph), Tom (Kathleen), Jean Wilson (Dennis), Louise Barzee (late Keith) and Idaho. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“Larry and Andrea Becker: Like many from Waterton, we both had a rather unique connection to Hound Dog. Larry remembers riding horses across the Waterton Badlands with Hound Dog during a spectacular thunderstorm with ball lighting. Andrea spent a winter working with Hound Dog on the slopes of Crandell Mountain, clearing pine beetle kill. He was so lovely to be around, quiet spoken with a whip-sharp sense of humour. Can't believe he is gone. Our deepest condolences.”
