He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Nelson Sr. and Alice Laycock Nelson; and his brother Nels Nelson Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Rissa Mae Jensen; and his children, Randy Nelson (Lynn), Wendy Nish (Tom), Kevin Nelson (Joann), Colin Nelson (Terri), Shannon Greenhalgh (Rhod), Jo-Anne Malmberg (Brent) and Sandra McMurray (Rob). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
