She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ray Megli (Camrose); her parents, Solomon Boese and Margaret Boese; her children, Dale (Leslie Megli), Ruth Boettger, Jay Megli, Ladean (Kelvin Isaac), Rita (Rob Johnson), Ivy (Kevin Birch) and Robyn (Shane Smith); her great grandchildren, Joel Megli (Nicole), McKinney and Ivy; and her siblings, Jake Boese (Viola), Linden, Verden Boese, Velma Wiebe and Bernice Esau (Fred). She was also cherished by relatives and friends.

As she embarked on her 10th decade her character was marked by sweet contentment and a gracious spirit even as she navigated the challenges of being isolated due to Covid.
